really a Christian nation; it was just founded on religious
principles,” or some other similar comment? Perhaps
you have said that. This book is an anthology of quotes, statements,
and excerpts from our founding fathers and other national
leaders (up to the 20th century) that reveal beyond question
that America was founded as a Christian Nation. While we have
never been a religious state, and while there has never been
an official “national” religion, it is unambiguously
clear that our founders believed in God as presented in the
Bible and the in the Person of Jesus Christ, and further,
that they believed that faith in Him is necessary for a good
society. This booklet should encourage faithful patriots and
convince secular skeptics that, indeed, America is “one
nation, under God.”
